Ronja and Nik are two wonderful people. After many adventures, experiences and travels, as well as several years in the big city of Hamburg, they are now returning to Bavaria.
To be precise – to Dünzelbach. A small, charming village between Munich and Landsberg.
Nothing more than a cluster of a few houses, a village shop, fields, meadows and forests all around.
The house isn't just a house; it's a rambling courtyard adorned with beautiful and original details. Horst, the owner of this listed building, is very keen to preserve its charm and country-house character during the renovations. It's a place where many different interior doors have found a home, where renovations were carried out with care and patience, and where one can now enjoy peace and quiet and give oneself time to be imaginative, to write, to find inner peace, or simply to be.
The house in Dünzelbach is intended to invite artists, journalists, authors, musicians, and anyone who needs time for themselves to be creative.
There are beautifully and individually furnished workplaces, enough space to switch off and yet people with whom one can have a conversation.
Since Ronja and Nik are good friends of ours and I often have the pleasure of being here in the countryside, I was recently allowed to photograph this great house.
As I walked through the house, I was struck again by how much passion has gone into it. This is no ordinary house – this place belongs on your bucket list :)
See for yourselves, these are the results of my little photo tour through this courtyard, which doesn't have a name yet. That, too, would be worth a creative brainstorming session!
